ROBERTO COSTA COMES TO MIAMI
Roberto Costa is an acclaimed London-based restaurateur. He has spent his life in restaurants. Born and raised in the suburbs of Genoa, Italy, he spent his early days helping his family run their Trattoria. He later founded the Italian restaurant chain Maxela and after 20 years of success throughout Italy, Roberto expanded Maxela to London in 2012. In 2014, Roberto Costa took full ownership of the restaurant and changed its name to Macellaio RC.
As a restaurateur, Roberto Costa is committed to honouring the work of artisan farmers and producers who devote their lives to sharing his passion, and educating his guests on the quality sourcing of his restaurant’s ingredients. This is Luna Park’s mission: to feature the highest quality ingredients available, and getting to know the story and origin of each dish. “I can’t wait to expand my vision into the U.S. market and share my passion with Miami at Luna Park,” says Roberto Costa, “We have taken what we call The Costa Method and applied it to every concept. This entails knowing the origin of every ingredient and exclusively using refined, exceptional quality meats like the Fassona breed and Bluefin tuna”.
The new Luna Park will bring four all-new concepts by Roberto Costa: Macellaio RC, Puro’s, N.0 Osteria and Antica Pizzeria del Luna Park.
